Every year, 1535° Creative Hub organizes a week-long open house giving professionals and the general public a chance to learn more about its residents and their work.
In 2020, Explose made a special 100% online edition of Creative Week possible. The idea was to broadcast unique content on a dedicated temporary website for a full week: from interviews, live sessions and an e-shop, to a pop-up store in the heart of Differdange, Luxembourg.
What’s Creative Week?
1535° and Explose brought Creative Week to life. It’s a 100% online event dedicated to creative know-how and gives entrepreneurs a chance to show the world their working environments. From October 17 to 24, at creativeweek.lu, guests could watch live and recorded interviews of the residents (product designers, 2D & 3D animation studio, illustrators, photographers, digital agencies, graphic designers, painters, architects, audiovisual production studios) and special guests.
Creative Week: produced by Explose
Explose took care of everything: concept, communication, identity, website and e-shop, production and filming of the video content, interviews, set design, and creation of the pop-up store (interior architecture, design and space planning.)
Explose also created and developed the DNA of the event and used strong, modern and innovative graphic design elements to ensure the promotion of the event.
Explose designed and set up the entire teasing phase which was rolled out on social networks (Facebook and Instagram). Guests could really get involved online by creating their own event poster for each resident to encourage sharing and help the event go viral.
Aware of the value of social media for impactful communication, Explose created the entire digital marketing strategy which included managing sponsored posts and ads on Instagram and Facebook in Luxembourg as well as internationally.
Explose created all print posters, invitations, double-page magazine ads, flyers and stickers for the event.
Filmmaking & photography
Explose produced and directed a series of 43 portraits/interviews, 4 live sessions and 1 TV ad. For every interview, a specific set design was created to showcase each resident.
For the teasing phase, Explose developed a series of photographs taken during the shoots, specifically designed for the website and social networks.
Explose created the website (UX/UI design and development) where users could find the program for the week as well as live and recorded interviews.
E-shop & pop-up store
A pop-up store located in the heart of Differdange was designed, fitted out and decorated by Explose especially for the event. Here, 1535° residents could showcase and sell their creations.
E-commerce was also made possible thanks to the creation of an e-shop with stock management, possible deliveries in Luxembourg, France, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands, as well as a click-and-collect option directly at the pop-up store.
